Barton’s Discounts is looking for a qualified individual to work in our apparel sorting department. We are looking for an individual who is interested in a long-term position with a fast-growing and forward-thinking company.

The duties will include:

• Sorting different types of apparel into large bins to be shipped.
• Warehouse Accountability (Moving pallets, Loading pallets)
• Warehouse Cleaning (Keeping the Department Cleaned Up)
• Pallet Building/Break down
• Put-A-Way

Hours: Monday through Saturday (10am-4pm)

Our team of Listing Associates are the heart of the eCommerce department. As a team member, you will work in a self-managing role that directly affects the growth and profitability of the company. Candidates should be hardworking with the ability to learn and grow with the support of their team. Associates are expected to operate with the highest levels of integrity and customer service. All work will be performed in a warehouse environment.

Duties

• Evaluating products to be sold within our various online marketplaces. This includes but is not limited to: researching item cost (“comps”), estimating shipping cost, and making a judgement call based on any present directives and/or knowledge on competitive pricing.
• Testing products. This includes but is not limited to: unboxing the product to ensure all parts are present, testing electronics, inspecting for damages.
• Photographing items as needed (training provided).
• Preparing honest and descriptive listing details in conjunction with listing the item in the appropriate category and condition based on the associates evaluation.
• Appropriately and safely preparing products for shipping (training provided).
• Participating in department-wide responsibilities that include but are not limited to tasks such as: inventory pulling, shipping and label creation, packaging, and/or preparing shipments for couriers.
• Have a working knowledge of other departments and how they contribute within the business while maintaining positive interdepartmental relationships.

Skills/Requirements 

• Must have computer experience and be able to operate a computer competently and comfortably.
• Some heavy lifting may be occasionally required (assistance available).
• Must be punctual and dependable with a positive attitude. 
• Motivated to grow within the company.

Barton’s Discounts in Indianapolis is in need of an additional employee for our retail department! Barton’s specializes in new, scratch/dent and overstock merchandise. The applicant must be capable of manual labor, organized, and possess extreme attention to detail. The job description includes:

• Customer Service
• Stocking
• Checkouts
• Carry-outs

Hours: Mon-Sat (10am-4pm)

Barton’s Discounts in Indianapolis is looking for a qualified individual to work in our wholesale division. Our company is growing at a rapid pace! We’re actively seeking individuals that are focused on long term employment and willing to put in the work necessary to further advance and grow with our company. Please see the job description below. You must have a resume to be considered for the position. Forklift experience is not necessary but is desirable. Training is available if needed.

• Receiving Merchandise / Unloading Semis (Manual and Forklift)
• Warehouse Accountability (Moving pallets, Loading pallets)
• Customer Service (Sales/Info to our Wholesale Customers)
• Warehouse Cleaning (Keeping the Wholesale Department Cleaned Up)
• Pallet Building/Break down
• Put-A-Ways
• Ability to repeatedly lift/move merchandise during the workday.

This is a hands-on, manual labor position. Please note that our warehouse does have heat but no A/C.
